Me and My Motorcycles

It all started over 50 years ago in 1954 with me riding a friends doodlebug.  Then I upgraded to a used Sears & Roebuck (Allstate scooter) and in 1955 a new T20 Triumph Tiger Cub.

Over the years I have owned several bikes including an Allstate, a Cushman (Eagle), BSAs, a James, a Mustang, a Zundapp, numerous Harleys and many, many Triumphs.  However it seems as for some reason or another I have never owned any Japanese Iron.  As for the Harleys I guess they are OK but I always seem to come back to the Triumphs.  List of Bikes...

Currently I only have two (2) old vintage Triumphs in my stable and they are both everyday riders.  One is a very rare 1971, Bonneville 650cc, T120RV, (5 speed) all original and the other is a 1972, Daytona 500cc, T100R mostly original.  Both of these bikes have won numerous first place trophies in various bike shows.  At the last show I entered both bikes and each took a First Place, one in the European Stock Class and the other in the European Custom Class.  Each bike won a first place in it's respective class beating out other Triumphs and numerous BMWs.  I rode off into the sunset with two first place trophies.  Not bad for two (2) old vintage Triumphs and a vintage biker.

My dream bikes are a Pre-Unit 6T Triumph Thunderbird and a Vincent Black Lightning.

I enjoy riding and doing all my own repair work...
